There are other groups of individuals who also claim responsibility for many of the formations. Contests have also been sponsored to determine if the circles could have been created by human intervention, which has encouraged many to create these circles randomly. A 1994 documentary on the Discovery Channel would, on the surface, seem to explain away most, if not all, of the circles as having been created in this fashion. However, the so called "facts" presented in this obviously slanted program were rife with gaps in research, verifiable background information and proper documentation. Many impressive circles have been made by human circlemakers, but the aspects of the construction of these formations is quite crude ‹ the random bending of the grain, the uneven nature of the edges, etc. The "real" anomalies often exhibit such startling aspects as actual molecular changes to the grain itself (which cannot be faked, at least with current known technology), the grain being woven in as much as six layers deep, etc. Many of the newest circles (as of summer of '97) have evolved into designs that are much more abstract and intricate than pictograms composed of simple circle and stick shapes. The creation of such advanced formations would seem far beyond most of the resources of the current crop of circlemakers. Unless, of course, in an X-Files scenario they are connected to intelligence organizations with those very resources. As in many facets of the UFO controversy, a deliberate disinformation campaign seems to be designed to confuse and distort the investigation into the genuine phenomena. [Opening Scene] Two guys with boards in a wheat field are creating a crop circle. [Storyline] Overhead is a UFO, flash to inside the "craft" where several aliens are watching these two guys on a monitor, they are exchanging knowing glances and laughing in an alien tongue. A blue beam emanates from the underside of the craft and illuminates the two. They look up into the light with a startled look on their faces. The UFO flies off, sending another beam of energy to an area of the field close by, creating a huge, intricate circle infinitely more complex and beautiful than their primitive effort. [Closing Scene] Shot pans out into space viewing both circles with the 2 men's faces looking up in awe at what has just transpired. Then the shot zooms back into the real circle, through increasing levels of magnification until it stops at the image of what appears to be a kind of alien stamp or bar code on the molecular level. Spot #2: Crop Circle Parking Lot All current circles have been formed in semi-remote areas of grain fields. This next concept is a hypothetical projection of the circle formation phenomena appearing in the parking lots of urban America. The mythos of the mysterious black helicopters, supposedly military, that show up at UFO and other anomalous sightings, is touched upon here also. [Opening Scene] Striking blonde nordic looking mother and her 7 year old blonde son enter a grocery store. They are dressed in a remarkable bluish-silver, almost iridescent material. [Storyline] They are walking down the cereal isle and the child is attracted to an unusual looking box on the shelf that stands out from the rest. As he reaches for the box of Crop Circle Cereal TM , the camera pans to a close up of his face and focuses into the incredible depths of his bright blue eyes, the identical color of his mother's. On the upper area of his cheek is what appears to be a small unusually shaped birthmark. As he takes the box from the shelf, a sudden low frequency hum is heard that quickly builds in waves of intensity. Everything begins to shake, products fall from the shelves, and a bright light flashes through the store. The boy and his mother exchange a knowing smile as they vanish/teleport from view. Customers rush outside to try to determine what has happened. The camera pans out into the store's parking lot and zooms up for an overview of the cars below, which have all been rearranged in a circle formation. For a split second, we see an overlay of the shot of the childs face again , then morphing to the mother's and realize that the pattern of the cars is identical to the shape of the small mark on both of their faces. [Closing Scene] In the distance, there is a silvery UFO accelerating across the horizon at a tremendous speed trailed by two black helicopters. Spot #3: Alien Art [Opening Scene] Back shot of a small alien drawing symbols on a highly technical looking computer & advanced virtual holographic artpad system. [Storyline] Simultaneously there is a crop circle of the same shape being formed below in a wheat field. Flashes back and forthfrom the childs alien hand drawing the holographic image to the field. Pan out to show child's parental units behind him. The Mother says to her significant other, "See what the young one drew today." [Closing Scene] Close up of drawing and close up of Crop Circle, their shapes blending together to form a single glowing image. [Slogan] "A Symbolic Gesture" [CLOSING]

Spot #4: Beyond The Milky Way This spot goes quite a bit deeper, yet still manages to take a brief satirical nod to the recent Milky Way candy bar ad campaign. There is also, admittedly, some resonance to the scene in the movie "Contact" where they were trying to analyze the data that was received from the alien transmissions. [Opening Scene] Background: A team of scientists in a leading edge secret government AI (artificial intelligence) research facility are trying to decipher relevant patterns of data that the crop circle symbols represent using their state of the art self programming computer arrays. A technician appears to be eating a candy bar (with the same general appearance as the Milky Way bars - the name obscured by a careful placement of his hand) as he makes adjustments to a large bank of digital indicators and controls. A young girl with shortly cropped black hair is strapped into a large cushioned chair with a cybernetic brain to computer interface helmet on her head. She is an intuitive with advanced telepathic abilities that has been trained to merge her consciousness with that of the cognitive machines. Within this blending a synergistic geometric enhancement of intelligence occurs, the first steps to a more expansive and evolved multidimensional awareness. There have been synchronistic events that have led a core group of the more visionary scientists to believe that the girl might be able to forge a dimensional gateway of communication with the energy behind the crop circle enigma. [Storyline] At the point we are viewing this scene, there is a major breakthrough. On a large LCD screen suspended from the ceiling at the back center of the room, crop circle symbols begin to join and meld together in impossibly intricate patterns, like pieces of some vast cosmic puzzle now falling into place. A series of blueprints, images, and word pictures emerge in a kind of rotating fifth dimensional depth of field, vital information for the exploration of a new way of being. We shift to a closeup of the girl's face, which shifts from human to various alien lifeforms to human and back again . A deep resonant, many layered voice issues from her mouth: "Evolving primates, this is a message from beyond the Milky Way - eat Crop Circle Cereal TM ." [Closing Scene] Shot of aliens (on board UFO eating what appears to be a form of Crop Circle Cereal TM out of an metallic bowl that seems to constantly morph into various strange shapes. Two of the aliens converse in a form of visual telepathic language, ie. we see complex glowing holographic symbols pass from the third eye region of one alien to the other. At the same time we hear the odd sounds which represent their inner dialog. A rough translation appears on the screen: [Slogan] "The true path of evolution is always so much more than the sum of its parts" [CLOSING]

Spot #5: Cow Spots (see comp design­storyboard) The unexplained phenomena of cattle mutilation has been linked to the alien/UFO contact. It was common for the cows lips to be removed as well as various organs, which were surgically removed. [Opening Scene] A boy walks out of farm house in the early dawn of a country morning eating directly out of a box of Crop Circle CerealTM . [Storyline] He walks out into a herd of black & white spotted cows who are eating grass. They look up and acknowledge the boy. He continues to walk past and suddenly gets a strange feeling, a tingling at the back of his spine. He slowly turns and looks back at them. The shapes of their spots have all changed to crop formations. They are mooing plaintively and looking up. The boy glances back at his cereal box, then back at the cows and they are normal again. [Closing Scene] Shot pans up to the sky as a large UFO is flying away. [Slogan] "A message from the udder side" [CLOSING]

Spot #6: Infinite Fractal Dimensional Loop (spiral concept 1) [Opening Scene] {morning} Man walks into kitchen for breakfast and sits down with a bowl of Crop Circle Cereal TM [Storyline] As he is eating his cereal, he looks down into bowl, does a double take. A close-up inside of the bowl shows a shot of him sitting at a table in the middle of a crop circle within a field looking down at himself within his cereal bowl. Each time this happens the scenery, the colors, his clothing etc. changes. Worlds within worlds within worlds. Images flow one into the other, faster and faster until they blur into a ever swirling spiral. [Closing Scene] Shot of UFO above, aliens watching the man go through the various mirrored dimensions. [Slogan] "Shift Happens" [CLOSING]

Spot #7: Worm Hole (spiral concept 2) [Opening Scene] Man in suit & tie sits down to eat a bowl of Crop Circle Cereal TM . The family dog brings him the morning newspaper. [Storyline] He looks into his cereal bowl and the cereal starts to form a vortex shaped crop circle, the vortex expanding outward. It first sucks up his tie, then he follows along with the dog with the newspaper still in his mouth. Everything in the kitchen soon gets sucked into the voracious spiral. The next overhead shot shows him lying in the exact center of a smaller crop formation. He is spread-eagled in his rumpled suit in the famous Leonardo Davinci position. [Closing Scene] He has a dazed and confused expression on his face as he looks up at the underside of the UFO as it takes off. The sound of the dog can be heard barking in the background. Next to him is the newspaper, its pages blowing in the wind. We zoom into the front page and can read the bold headline: [Slogan] "Time to Wake Up" [CLOSING]

Spot #8: Missing Time This spot spoofs the missing time/alien abduction scenarios. There is also a sly reference to the popular milk commercials -- "Got Milk?" [Opening Scene] A man stumbles out of bed, goes down the stairs to the kitchen. [Storyline] We flash to the clock, it's 6 AM and still fairly dark outside as seen through the kitchen window. He pours a bowl of Crop Circle CerealTM and adds milk to the bowl. He takes a bite of the cereal with his right hand and the camera zooms into his eyes. A bright light flashes through the window and the room shakes as everything seems to dissolve into the intense brightness. Suddenly the phone rings & the answering machine comes on as the scene fades back into view. It's a woman co-worker, his boss, asking where he is for his 9 am meeting. Shot of the man's now sunburned face looking dazed and confused, a droplet of milk drooling out of the corner of his mouth, his left hand now holding the spoon and the right hand holding the milk (opposite of above), The spoon in his shaking hand is aimed at the bullseye of his partially opened mouth. As we examine the back of his hand more closely, we can see a small triangular shaped implant mark . The clock now shows the time of 10 AM. [Closing Scene] Two aliens are inside a UFO., Through the spacecraft's command center viewscreen we can see Earth rapidly receding in the distance. One alien speaks to another in a dry sounding insectoid voice. The other is placing a small vial into a metallic case and nods yes in reply. The translation: [Slogan] "Got DNA?" [CLOSING]

Spot #9: Happy DNA Note: This can be represented through 3D rendering & graphics. [Opening Scene] Scientists are examining human molecular/DNA/subatomic levels in a highly advanced electron microscope imaging scanner. [Storyline] They are comparing the energetic structure of people who have eaten Crop Circle Cereal TM to those who haven't. In the scan of those who have eaten the cereal, the impression one gets is that of joyful movement, vitality and vibrant life. There is color and a glow emanates from the animated images. In contrast, the scans of those who have not eaten the cereal are washed out, dormant and sluggish. There is a sense of inertia, a heavyness and slow jerky movements. Spot #10: Earth Mother There are theories that these circles are symbols from the morphogenic intelligence of Earth Mother GAIA sent to communicate with us. [Opening Scene] Shot showing our wondrous planet from deep space. [Storyline] Rapidly zoom into nighttime shot of crop circle being created. Balls of light ascend from the umber of the ancient earth, moving over the surface of the land in intricate patterns until the circle is fully formed. The Circle being completed, the balls of Light return into the ground. Time lapse shot of the next few days, researchers and gawkers coming to the site, some trampling the field and leaving junk, trash, and various other debris behind. [Closing Scene] The last segment shows an white bearded old man and a young child collecting all of the garbage in the field. A tear forms in the center of his eye as he meditatively gazes out over the horizon at the wonder of the rising sun, the echoesof the nights stars and moon still visible in the purple/orange sky of the dawn.
